Many of the residents who have lived in KRC for many years may remember that the communities would have an annual luminary on Christmas Eve starting at dusk. As I understand it, each homeowner who wanted to participate would place twelve luminaries along the curb in front of their home. If you would like to bring some KRC Nostalgia back, a couple links to websites are provided where you can purchase luminaries on your own at a very reasonable price. The websites also provide "how-to" instructions for anyone who has never put out luminaries. Wouldn't it be beautiful to walk along your neighborhood street on Christmas Eve as a family and see neighborhood homes lit with Christmas decor and luminaries?
